Need super help on lusso wheels and brembo brakes

I cannot install the Lusso wheels on the brembo abarth brakes caliper. Is this normal ? Antefact: I have bought the abarth wheels since I d like them better than the Lusso one. I decided to use the stilish heavier abarth wheels for daily driving and the lighter lusso wheels for track ( note: in Italy you re not allowed to change the wheel size . You can, but you re out of law). Waiting for the Covid to go away, tracks are closed of course, Ipurchased at a very good price the brembo calipers for the 124 Abarth. Installed, used on the abarth wheels no problem, very nice and performing . Today I wanted to take the abarrh wheels down and get the tires chamged from winter to summer. I thought that I could have given the Toyo R888R that still sits new and unused a short drive to work. Well, surprise surprise the front wheels touch the caliper and cannot be installed . Actually they cannot even tightned . Am I so stupid to have missed the info about incompatibility of the lusso wheels and the brembo brakes ?

Yep, unfortunately the Brembos do limit wheel options. For example on the Miata I believe the Club trim's BBS wheels are the only factory options that will fit.

The Abarth wheels of course will clear the Brembos on factory rotors. They will also clear if you upgrade to Goodwin's Brembo 2-piece big rotors, but you'll need to get creative with where you put the wheel weights.

You can only get the Abarth with the Brembo brakes because of that wheel compatibility issue. You will need to add spacers.

Thanx @Jon and @chilicharger665 . Well spacers are not an option if you want to drive on streets as well for the reasons above mentioned ( not legal) . I am sure that OZ ultraleggera fits the Brembo since they manufacture for the 124 GT . I am not sure ( asking) , if the ET has to be 45 or even 42 or any other wheels . I know this is a difficult info to get because most of the people rightly upsize their wheels since they change . Sticking on the 17x7 is quite rare . Any how thanx for anyone giving me some hint on wheels .

I've seen that the ET37 17x7 will clear the Brembos without spacers. I don't know about the other offsets. I wish I could find a set of ET45 Ultraleggeras from a GT. I believe that factory offset version is made only for Abarth.

Spoke design is a big, if not bigger, factor in caliper fitment.

@Good-Win Racing has all the wheels that fit the Brembos worked out, check their site www.good-win-racing.com

@Jon yes I confirm that the OZ ultralight ET45 are made for the GT. They are available in the e-mopar website at the nice price of 375 euro each. Shipment is included. The ET 37 should go, still waiting OZ will open again the premises to confirm that. @sharkcohen , good-win racimg has wonderful stuff but they do not ship outside US. There s someone in UK importing some of their stuff but prices boom for import and shipping so much that their stuff become a no go for us european.

The picture is definitely of the GT wheels, much appreciated! I tried searching that part number though and it was inconclusive whether that was the GT part number or regular Abarth wheel part number. I'm assuming it's the GT wheel, though.

Edit: the weight is listed at 22lbs, which is the weight of the original Abarth wheels.

If you have the time, I'd be grateful! I've really wanted these. Not sure when I can justify them since I work in the restaurant industry, but I definitely would've bought them a couple months ago if I knew about them before all this started.

You can use the GWR info as a resource. I don't think those wheels are sold exclusively by GWR.

I ll give them a call, if they are available. Looks like we will have an extended lockdown up to 5th May but mopar should work online. As far as your situation , well I think that either someone is rich or rob banks ,but everyone will be facing very hard times. I will buy the OZ , if things get worse, then the problem will not be tOZ wheels but bigger. Much bigger . Let s hope for the best. I ll back your purchase ;-)
