New Maxton Design splitters and a diffuser

Hi guys,
Today I mounted a set rear (Maxton Design) splitters and a diffuser. I wanted to give my 2016 Abarth 124 a bit more "body" at the rear, without lowering it. Very happy with the result

Looks good! Thinking of getting one of those as well :)
That does look good!

Was it easy to install?

Care to share a link?
Ive been thinking about that center section for mine but couldnt ever find good detailed pics of it
Yes, they are very easy to instal and easy to reverse if you don,t like them, only need to drill a few holes with screws in the original panels. 1 hour job.

I ordered them at a local supplier, but they can also be delivered directly from:

ah that's good to know. which did you go for? i remember there were 3 choices: the textured, a gloss black, and a carbon effect.
Textured, almost similar material than the original black skirts.

The side splitters and diffuser definitely look good but I'm wondering, how was their customer service, were they easy to deal with? How long did it take to receive your order after placing the order? Did they charge you for the full order amount prior to actually shipping the order? Is the quality of the product what you were expecting/hoping for?
I have been contemplating on and off for quite some time about possibly getting a Spoiler Cap (Gloss Black for my black Abarth) from them but a couple of things have always kept me from pulling the trigger and actually ordering one. First is the high number of negative customer reviews that show up online for this company and second is the lead times involved. After seeing this post I once again checked on maxtondesignusa.net and they're showing a lead time, if I were to order a Spoiler Cap today, of 4 months, not available until November 2022. I recall reading where some have waited 6+ months to receive product.
So, just kinda curious if you don't mind sharing, how was your overall experience in dealing with Maxton Design?

Ive found better pricing and no mentions of wait times (in stock) for these items from places like abarth tuning and zymexx. Perhaps that is a better route than gojng through maxton directly.

I waited four months for the spoiler cap. When it arrived it was only glossy on the topside, and it is just a poorly cut piece of abs plastic. The design is awesome it’s too bad the execution was as cheap as possible. Oh yeah you have to pay for it in advance and still wait forever. Honestly if I could do it again I would go for the Goodwin spoiler. It looks better, is made of acrylic I think, is adjustable, and actually functional. I think they cost about the same too.

I mean hey, you still could… 👀

And likely will but it’s a waste of almost $300 I think it cost with tax and shipping. Just wanted to give my 2c so others looking for a quality part don’t make the mistake of thinking this is it.

OMG!
Sorry to hear your experience with this vendor and their product was so negative. But it does kind of fall in line with many of the online posted reviews I have seen/found with regards to what others have experienced. Guess this pretty well cinches it and takes me off the fence with regards to whether I do or don’t pursue getting a Spoiler Cap from them …… I don’t.
Thanks for sharing and saving me from becoming a victim.

big ooooof yeah that sucks. I want to get the CF madness one but have heard of fitment issues there too…
As previously written, I don,t agree with the negative reactions about the quality and delivery times.
Maybe there,s a quality difference between the Gloss Black spoiler cap that ntngost ordered, and the diffuser / splitters?

Regarding the delivery, I placed the order through a local garage, here in the Netherlands, and the order was delivered within 6 weeks. I paid € 75,- euro in advance on a total amount of € 190,- euros.
The choice is yours, I'm satisfied.
Enjoy your cars, Greetz Paul

They only build parts that are ordered ahead of time, hence the lead time. Very limited market for aftermarket parts for our limited production cars. I too have the rear central splitter and rear side splitters on my Abarth. I waited several months for each to be produced per my order but love the unique look it gives my car. Not cheap and a pain to wait for them to come in but all is well that ends well....

The other parts only show one side, making the unfinished side a non issue. For the spoiler cap it’s a bit different because you see both sides. Still undecided about it and it’s sitting in its box ATM. I’m thinking I should have gone with a more functional wing over this one even though I like the style a lot.
