I know what you mean!Hey there, I'm in the same boat. I'm so impressed with the new Miata and thought I was going to jump ship from Fiat to Mazda.
As long as Fiat installs the 1.4T from the Abarth, I'm in.
Yeah it's a good setup!Sounds nice and deep!
That it is.
This is one of the reasons I'd love it if we end up getting this engine, already we get a head start on mods as we get to see what is out there.
Adding to those perks are all the before and after dyno runs that are probably out by now to show what real world results are like, to make those mods that much more exciting.Exactly, I know there are already several performance ECU tunes out there, as well as exhaust mods, which can unlock more power out of the 1.4T.
I hope you never get rid of it and instead get the new 124 to park right next to itJust retired after 40 years in the Fire Service. I gave myself a 1979 Fiat 2000 Spider (red, of course) as a retirement present. Even the wife, says it is one of the best things I ever bought and we are really enjoying it. I think, that it will be easy to talk her into a new one to join it in the garage. But, will wait for the Abarth version. I see, some very subtle design cues in some of the renderings that I have seen. Which is great as the original 124 spider and mine has a lot of it's Peninferina design cues from the Ferrari 250 GT. I is good to see a great design DNA continue.
