Anyone found more than 4 Mazda labels on their 124?
1) underside on boot lid (trunk for you boys across the pond)
2) Drivers side door shut
3) Passenger side door shut
4) Passenger footwell bulkhead
Any more?
Think I'll be getting the hair dryer out at w/e and remove them as they are strangely starting to irritate me now, especially as one of my 'mates' keeps pointing them out
Hey...the car was a collaboration from the get go....and a very good one. Fiat have given the 124 a very different flavour (as opposed to the near identical Toybaru twins) and platform sharing is the only way we'll see relatively low volume low cost sports cars going forward. The Supra is next. A couple of legacy Mazda badges don't faze me
No problem at all with platform sharing, just curious as to why Mazda labels are attached at such a late stage, it's not as if they are common to the MX-5. Also there aren't any Ford labels on our 500?
I see tons of Fiat and Mopar labels on the car. As far a Mazda labels go, in addition to the ones you mentioned I have seen Mazda on suspension components, specifically IIRC the lower control arms.
I guess it depends on what you're buying and which factory is making it (as with manufacturing anywhere), but a lot of the Chinese stuff I've bought lately is of really good quality.
Seriously? I think it it's hilarious for 2 reasons.
