Greetings from Michigan - Looking for a Lusso with a manual tranny, but dealer advised me yesterday that they won't arrive here until Sept. Will stay tuned here until then.
Screen name is as close as I could get to Zoom - Zoom in Italian - Ha!

Similar here. I'm down for a Lusso with a manual and the dealer told me September but don't be surprised if it's later, depending upon the ship, etc.

I understand Fiat was planning for roughly a 60% auto, 40% manual demand, although the first shipment isn't anywhere close to those percentages. Hopefully, that'll be rectified with the future shipments.

Took a while, but finally picked up a 2018 Lusso manual with saddle interior. Love the sound of the engine and the tranny is incredible. Looking forward to meeting other members.

Took a while

I guess it did if you ordered it around the time of your first post! I admire your patience; I would never have been able to wait this long. Congrats!

Proud owner of a manual Lusso. You'll have to keep up an aggressive nation-wide search to find what you want. It's going to be a while before one shows up locally like you want.

I used the FIAT locator and cars.com to keep up a daily inventory search. It was ultimately a tip from someone on the board here that led me to mine. Bought it from a dealer about 850 miles away and had it shipped to me.

Thanks guys, I promise the next steps will be quicker.
Already entered a road rally in May, and the Detroit Fiat Club looks very active.
Plan on installing a DV and, after a few thousand miles, switching the trans fluid to the magical Motorcraft XT-M5-QS. Any good places to get door sill guards?

Looking for some help organizing a good drive past all the proving grounds for the Detroiters this summer.

I have a basic route set up, but haven't tested it out yet. Once back in town, I'll send you a note.

Welcome to the owner's club!

Good idea on installing a GFB DV right away, that stock DV is mush. If it's anything like the stock DV in my Ford Fusion Sport, the GFB will be a BIG improvement in boost retention and driveability. If you're not going to mod it to a Stage 1 or Stage 2 level, you might want to also consider installing a GoPedal. Fairly simple to install, but what a HUGE improvement in throttle response.
