When I say can't exist, I mean that the website says "if you want the luxury package, you can only have leather (not Recaro) seats.

But wait..... sure enough, my dealer is getting an Abarth with both the luxury package AND Recaro seats. Which is probably as expensive as you can make one of these things from the factory save adding an auto trans (which I don't want). The car is of course in the color I want, with Brembo brakes. No VIN assigned yet, but I'll move up the production queue if I sign on the dotted line.

Some call it fate, I call it witchcraft. Yeah, I hate the shark fin antenna like everyone else but I want the rest of the luxury package. I just wish affiliate pricing was as good a deal is Mazda plan pricing (my employer gets both), oh well. The Miata is nice, but the 124 grabbed me the minute I saw a photo, and a test drive sealed it.

At least Allstate is playing nice and only asking for another $30 a month to add it to my fleet (or zero increase if I drop one of my existing cars). I work from home so that helps keep rates down.

Bianco Perla. Red was a close second, but I wanted something a little more unique. I would have taken the red/black leather seats, but those seem rare and it appears ordering one is out of the question until demand drops. Not that I mind Recaro seats of course.

The antenna is a minor detail, I'm not going to remove it or anything.

Just waiting on the final numbers; a bit sad I can't have it now as we are still flirting in the mid 70's here. Not that I care, all I need is sunlight.

First really fun car I've ever had, and I'll be canceling a Tesla Model 3 deposit to get it. If only I could sell that reservation spot....

How much are you getting off with your affiliate rewards control number? My local fiat dealer said they can only take off $500 with a manufacturers discount, yet they still want my affiliate code. Pretty shady if you ask me...

They told me what is coming before I said what I wanted, and in this case they sent me the actual order sheets for what is coming (I specifically asked for the detailed build specs for the two they've got coming).

I thought 1% off invoice was standard? Of course the Abarth invoice itself is only about ~$800 less than sticker, so it isn't a huge deal. Supposedly the invoice has a "PP" value on it and that is what you pay. Other incentives apply as well.

Now they do say "eligible vehicles", but I don't see that the 124's are excluded.

For those curious, from the "priced order confirmation" the dealer sent me. Still waiting on numbers with the affiliate discount. If valid, the only thing that kind of stinks is essentially paying for two sets of seats.

Actually it sounds like a Canadian build - for the Abarth with the luxury package the Recaros are a 400 dollar add-on in the configurator (or a ridiculous $1700 without the package).

Has anyone confirmed that the Brembo setup is on all four wheels? Because the Brembo package for the Miata is front wheels only - I suspect this might be as well.

You could've just as easily said "Performance Brakes indeed," which was also contained in the description.

Specifically, it says they are Brembo performance brakes WITH red calipers. That sounds more ENcouraging than DIScouraging.
