Hey All.. Dennis in Las Vegas:


I've been super pumped about the 124 since it was announced last year. An old roommate in the 80's had one I'd borrow ALL THE TIME.. LOVED IT !


So when a coworker showed me a pic of her new car last month, I freaked !.. She got a Black Classica with Auto.


After work, I raced straight to the Dealer, hoping to find a Fully Loaded Lusso with a Stick !! To NO AVAIL !, Only Classica's with sticks =(


My Dealer has a connection at the Distribution Center and a month later found my Dream Car... Meteor Gray / Black, Fully Loaded with a stick !!


It was Diverted from Hiroshima to the San Diego Port, and Finally got it last week... OMG.. The funnest car I've EVER owned, Selling my Mustang GT now...... Plus a couple Corvair Show Cars.. Also have a '68 Austin Healey Sprite, Keeping and restoring that one little by little...


So far, I've never seen another while I'm driving... Gets TONS of attention... People slowing down / speeding up, to look at it !


Took a trip the other night to get Powerball tickets in the middle of the Arizona desert.. Was in a pack of cars doing 80 in 6th Gear.. Punched it, and quickly pulled to 110 before I backed off, but it wanted to keep on going, was still pulling hard.. no doubt it could max out the speedo at 150


So far, have added a K&N Air Filter, that fits in the factory airbox...

I'm with you Dennis in loving the car!, I'm first person on the West Coast Pearl White/saddle interior Lusso stick and second person on the West Coast! Thanks Finday FIAT in Henderson, Nevada! I replaced the H11 fog lights with LED yesterday to give complete bright white front fascia look.

I'm with you Dennis in loving the car!, I'm first person on the West Coast Pearl White/saddle interior Lusso stick and second person on the West Coast! Thanks Finday FIAT in Henderson, Nevada! I replaced the H11 fog lights with LED yesterday to give complete bright white front fascia look.

Findlay Fiat... I know of you... lol.... But "I" was the first to request MY cars Color Combo... You came next... We got our Orders sent out the SAME day... BUT.. Lucky YOU... Yours was Easier to find in your combo... I pity that 3rd Undecided guy... who made his request, Only a DAY Later.... For HE has to wait ANOTHER Month.. lol.... Cheers to you Brother ... WE are the FIRSTS ON THE WEST COAST !!!!!!!! FUN TIMES !! This Car is the SHIZNITS !!! lol

Abro and I got ours back in August, so he is probably first in the east and I was second in the West. I was test driving a black standard that got sold from under me that day and I had to wait to get the next one.
Congrats on finally getting yours.

I don't think mine runs that high in 6th gear at 60. I'll check it out tomorrow and get back to you. Mine is an automatic.

K&N Air Filter

So true Dennis!, how is H&N filter, do you see a bump in HP or response?

They give a Little more HP... It does give the Engine a little more noise though.... not much, but noticeable... Which I like...


I don't really want that BOV whoosh noise, so this works for me...

I checked it this afternoon. With the cruise control set at 60 mph, the needle on the tachometer rides just above the 1750 mark. I would call it 1800 rpm.

Where did you get the H11 Fog lights? I want to do the same after noticing the fogs look yellow, compared to the LED Headlights..

I bought them on Amazon, they are OPT7 H11 CREE Series LED fog light replacement bulbs and were like 33 dollars for the set with free shipping or go directly to their website Dennis.

I checked mine again and it's right at 2500 in 6th at 60mph on a flat highway. Interesting that the manual is geared so much shorter than the automatic.
