Hi. I'll just come out and ask: My wife's CTS and my Volvo S40 had parking courtesy lights that would stay on for a minute or so after the car was shut off in order to light your way when you get home late at night in the dark.

Do we not have that on the 124? If so where do I turn that on?

TIA.

I don't know if its on the Abarth but on a Lusso just flash the main beam after switching the engine off and the lights will stay on for a minute. I don't use it because I reverse onto the drive so all I do is light up the house across the road.
I think you can alter the time in the system settings menu somewhere.

Follow Me Home

PAGE 40-41 in your Manual:

The Follow Me Home Light System turns on the headlights (low beams) for
a period of time after the ignition is switched OFF.

System Activation

With the ignition switched to ACC or OFF, pull the headlight control lever
rearward and the low beam headlights will turn on.

The headlights turn off after a period of time after all doors are closed.

The time until the headlights turn off after all of the doors are closed can be
changed through the Connect system.

The headlights turn off if the lever is pulled again while the headlights are on,
or after three minutes of no further action after the first pull of the lever.

I see. So it's not automatic, you HAVE to pull the headlights lever. I'll try it next time I get home and it's dark. Thanks for the info.
