Freddie I plan to do the Ceramic coating myself and my friend Treetopflyer(the top in the trade) gave me the steps on how to go about. So when I get the products I will tackle this. You could get more info on Youtube.

I plan to ceramic coat my spider. so I have asked the Pro. TOM better known as TREETOPFLYER to guide me through. once I bought the products which put a dent in my wallet he gave me the steps to follow and after research HOLY SMOKE
2 hours wash and wipe
1 hour clay bar and wipe I got mine Simoniz kit, 2 clay bars, wipe and spray) but you could get Monthers ect.
2 hours buffing on amazon (Sonax 242141 Profiline EX 04-06, 8.45 fl. oz.) to buff clay streaks on the paint
30 min wiping with alcohol (99% isopropyl alcohol 99%) don't drink it.
1 hour applying the ceramic coating (Avalon king) on their website you could get $25. coupon)
6.5 hours of work I nead a break and nap inbetween application
that would be the whole day.
Should never asked him???
too late products are already ordered
end of month i should tackle this.

Thanks, I was asking because the shops around here are asking $600 - $800 for a partial PPF (Front Bumper and partial hood an fenders) and that sounds like too much with no ceramic coating. And if I go for full wrap is about 2K. Can't really see how to spend that much if it only have an average of 5 year lifespan. Plus here in AZ, the summer heat is very hard on plastic. Right now I looking at shops out of state to see how they price their work. Thanks for replying.

Freddie: I did check with a shop here in Scottsdale. $1,600 was for the entire front with clear bra. My concern was to get just the front nose and mirrors - they came back at $600. Sounds like we are around the same pricing.
