I'm not sure TBH. All I know is the first 124 orders placed can have one...

What a beauty! I would love to own one (*with a manual transmission only*), but with only 124 being sold I can't help but think that most of them are already claimed by certain VIPs. I'm interested to find out how Fiat is going to determine who gets one.

I went to my local fiat dealer and asked him to provide me info on how to get on the waiting list and/or sign up for the preorder. I asked if I could put down a deposit/hold, he said not yet. I have not heard anything yet. It's been a week. They also sell Alfa's and took preorders for the 4c. Fingers crossed.

Since this model is a Lusso, I believe all 124 units will be auto transmission only. Gorgeous color, should be a standard option.

The interior looks great but i'm starting to think they could have done more, even if that was just with the colors scheme and use of materials on the layout they already have. Is this enough for you guys?

That and 25 cents gets you a cup of coffee. The dealers don't know how Fiat will distribute these. There are 210 Fiat dealers and 124 cars. So if they go to dealers each dealer wont even get one.

The Managers at the dealers I have contacted have told me they have not started wait lists, because they have not been given any information from Fiat.

Dealers are independently owned and operated. Dealers can do what they want. But Fiat, from what I have heard, have not given dealers information on the roll out of this car. Any dealer taking deposit's is just making money off your money.

So yes, from my understanding, a deposit with a dealer at this point means nothing,

Just got this from another Dealer.

We are currently taking $2,000 dollar deposits on the 124 spider. There is one person on the list, I cannot guarantee a Prima Edizione Lusso edition because there are only 124 being built. Leaving a deposit is the best chance to get your hands on a Prima.

Emailed back to see if its a refundable deposit, and if in the past the dealer has charged a premium for limited editions cars.
