I’m probably the world’s clumsiest wrencher. I’ve dropped lots of stuff into the belly of the beast, and sometimes can’t tell which end of a tool to use. Still, on this car, I’ve successfully installed an oil catch can, a GFB DV+, a PTP Lava turbo blanket, SokieTech hood struts, a BMC air filter, all the red bits and side badges, a complete set of LED lighting, replacement torque box covers, red accent piping, CLD sound deadening tiles, a bright dead pedal, and, no doubt, a few other things I’ve forgotten about. I drew the line at a FMIC upgrade only because I don’t have access to a lift.

Even for me, my Spider has been an incredibly easy car to wrench on. And I enjoy the end results even more for knowing I did it myself.

Sounds like we have the same taste in upgrades. My EC catch can and Sokietech hood struts just arrived and I’m planning to install them both today, but I’ve read about how they share a mounting location. Where did you end up installing the catch can bracket?
Mine didn't conflict, as I have an AT, so my catch can mounting bracket is secured on the firewall. You can get or fabricate an alternate bracket for yours. There are a number of threads here on installing the catch can, if you search it. There are some installations that are more elegant than mine, but the MT guys have gotten pretty creative as to how and where they've mounted theirs.
