I finally put a sat radio system in my Spider. The whole installation was pretty easy, and it was entirely free of any cutting, drilling, gluing or screwing. The only exception was splicing a wire to connect the dimmer control feed, and if I used a blade-type connector, I wouldn't even have had to do that - I used a Wego connector instead.

It works great, and as others have mentioned, the non-Bose stereo system sounds much better with a direct Aux-in connection than the FM ever did. I've tested it for a few days now, and the sat antenna location works great, top up or down. The screen displays album art in the right-hand section on a different setting, but the screen overall is pretty small.

Seems to fit pretty good. I've cancelled the SiriusXM on the Spider, since the interface is just awful, and use carplay, streaming XM. Have thought about getting one of these boxes and cutting down on the number of cars with XM.
