Good thing the "car is not designed for towing" (page 137 of the User Guide). Where would a hitch go?

I have never heard that a different muffler or cat-back exhaust would affect warranty. It may free up a few more horses, but that would not put undue stress on the engine.

I meant trailer hitch/towing.

Our car was out of warranty withing hours of purchase. I assume if you pull a boat... you might be out of luck. But there is mention of pulling a trailer in the OM I have.

Page 119
Turn off the RCTA system while pulling a trailer or while an accessory such as a bicycle carrier is installed to the rear of the vehicle.

When installing a trailer hitch, contact an Authorized Dealer.

If your vehicle will be towing a trailer, load from your trailer will be transferred to your vehicle. Consult this manual to determine how this reduces the available cargo and luggage load capacity of your vehicle.

I see the same, Ramzi. And also...

Your car is not designed for towing.

Contradictory documentation?

Is this hitch on a new 124? Did you fabricate it yourself, or..... don't need to tow anything but looking for clean way to haul my bikes with hitch mount rack. This solution is great! Any details you can share are greatly appreciated!
