Several posts said that the Cravinspeed antenna was the best. However, in talking with Customer Support, they said their red antenna would only fit the 500 Abarth, and would not fit the 124 Abarth, and furthermore, they had no plans to add a red antenna for the Abarth.

Anyone have any links to get this red stubby antenna for the 124 Abarth?

If it was red, they found some red paint to change the color, because Cravenspeed does not offer a red stubby antenna for the 124 Abarth.

There's about 15,000 different shades of color that are collectively referred to as "red." It would be nigh impossible to get it to match the actual color of your car. If you were to get one all you'd notice is that it's not *quite* the same shade of red as the rest of the car and it would drive you crazy. You're better off with a contrasting or neutral color like black.

When I ordered my stubby from cravenspeed in October was given the choice of red or black for the 124. Maybe they ran out.

I even remember seeing it on their website as a choice in October. I considered red, but ended up getting black. It goes well with my matte black trunk lid.

A problem with the red, as someone once mentioned, is that the 1" base is still going to be black.

Tom: This is how I plan to solve this issue. 1. Google "How to match car paint color." That will produce many paint duplicatation companies. 2. Get the paint code, probably near the driver door jam, on a Red Fiat 124 Spider Abarth. Most of the companies found in the Google search have spectrometers that precisely identify colors. Many also guarantee a perfect match. Don't have my Red Abarth yet, but could get the paint code if I could find a Red one at some local Studio.

The paint codes are all Mazda paint codes. You should have no problems matching using the door code. and ordering the correct Mazda paint.

CA_KID, once you get that paint code please share it with me. I want to paint the little round Abarth tow hook cover, as I haven't been able to find a source for the red one. I already have the red mirror caps and lower front facia cap.

Yet, I need to confirm that these Mopar accessories are the same Rosso red as the car itself. Anyone know?

That strikes me as an enormous amount of effort, time, and expense to lavish on a $20 radio antenna, but if it means that much to you then go for it and have fun. This car makes all of us a little nuts. :)

The O.C. Fiat Parts Manager today gave me this paint code for the 124 Spider Abarth = PKM. Though thru a lot of internet searching, I decided to use this firm to purchase some red paint for the stubby antenna. Here is their link. https://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/guided-order.cgi

Your prior PM was helpful in enabling me to post prior ride information on each message. Thanks!

For: TomM We've heard it all before: "Different strokes for different folks." I personally just don't like the Black color. Perhaps great for a hearse, but not for anything I own. Sure I spent some time on the I-net to find what I wanted, but I really enjoy all the time I spend on the Internet. When the Abarth arrives, I can spend more with that steering wheel rather than the keyboard. :)

Hope it works for you. You'll need to figure out a way to paint the base of the antenna as well as the stubby. The base is black and not a Cravenspeed part.

I finally got around to buying the black stubby - for the life of me, I wonder why I didn't do this earlier...

Oops for dirty bumper :X

Yup. I'd say it's the first thing that should change. I'd expect everyone on the forum to have a stubby antenna. It'd be like a secret handshake :)
