I tried the resistor jammed into the harness trick and it didn't work. Fiddled around with it and tried some different resistors, including 0.5W-2W and 1-3 Ohm. Pictures with the 0.5W resistor and error code are included below. Maybe it IS working but I can't turn off the light? I am using the OBDLink MX+ Scanner to try to clear the codes. Any tips appreciated.
