Just in case anyone is interested in replacing their turn signal bulbs with LEDS and wants a quick and easy way then I can highly recommend going for the lighting harness from MX-5 things as a simple plug and play way to prevent hyper flashing. https://store.mx5things.com/item/rear-light-unit-harness

You need 1 harness for the left rear, and another for the right rear and then you can replace both front and rear turn signals with LEDs. They take about 2 minutes to install and allow you to buy the cheaper LEDs without built in resistors which also may run a little cooler.

If you are looking to also change the side turn signals then you need to replace the actual side turn signal unit since the OEM one has the bulb/unit as a single item with the bulb not being replaceable.

There are a couple of options that I am aware of. IL Motorsports and Blinkerhaus.

IL Motorsports (Smoked or Clear) which are sold by Moss Miata in the US, or direct from IL Motorsports in Europe

In the process of changing all the incandescent bulbs on my Lusso Plus. ( has all the Fiat supplied ones).

Just changed the indicator bulbs (turn signals) with these;

Work perfectly without any extra wiring looms or other modifications.

Have any of you, who have replaced the side repeaters with LEDs found that once replaced. the MX-5 Things resistors no longer prevent hyper flashing? I have installed the iJDMtoy side repeater led units and now have hyper flashing again.

This happened to me too, I figured I needed to get a different resistor for the different load.
