Congrats on getting a 124.
What other cars were you considering before deciding to make the purchase?
So many options out there and I always like hearing about that whole pre-purchase part.
Well, I'm a life long car guy and have owned many exotic and sports cars over the years. I have owned 3 Different Ferraris over the past 15 years and have in fact been to the factory in Maranello twice. Anyway, last month I sold the Ferrari and bought a new Jaguar F type S AWD. The other night my wife half jokingly said to me that she felt maybe she should get a little red Italian sports car since I had gotten rid of mine. I said lets go look at the 124. Unfortunately my local dealer did not have what she wanted (red/saddle lusso), but I was able to locate one about 2 hours away. So I called the dealer, gave them a credit card deposit to hold it and told them we would be there Saturday morning to pick it up.
Sorry for the long response. I guess I still haven't answered your question. To be honest, there really were no other cars that we were considering. She just kind of decided that she wanted a fun little car and there was no way that I could deny her considering my track record.
