I had my headlights on Auto and Nav screen was bright. After 5 minutes of driving, the screen dimmed automatically to a point that I could not see the content. The only way I could make the screen to back to normal brightness was to switch the light to off position. Any idea how I can change the screen brightness without turning off the headlight?

Expected behavior actually. Likely the headlights came on and the defaults thought it was night and dark and dimmed the screen so as to not be blinding. Use the setup tools menu to change the screen settings to something "less automatic."

The knob on you odometer controls screen brightness along with the cluster. Turn it past the detent clockwise for full bright all of the time.
