A quick servus (=hi) from Vienna!

I wish I could start counting the days till the delivery of my 124 Spider, unfortunately the date is still months away. I ordered a fully packed tri-coated white Lusso back in August.. and will receive it in March/April of 2017.

My dealer told me that the car will be manufactured at the beginning of December '16.. and that it takes 4 months to get it to central Europe. As fascinating as it is building a car in parts Italy and Japan, the delivery times / waiting is hard :|

As a pastime I started the Instagram page "124central" https://www.instagram.com/124central/. Feel free to follow the page and tag it with pictures of your cars.

Anyway I've been following the forum for some weeks and I'm really looking forward to discussions with owners all over the globe! Cheers!

Congratulations!

As hard as it may seem to have patience, you can pass this waiting time by going to club events, visiting dealers, reading about the car, fixing up the garage, buying new car-cleaning supplies, tracking its build/ship progress, and hanging out in forums (of course). Maybe you can even go visit the Abarth factory while they are adding the final details to it?

I did a custom build, also, on my present car which was shipped from Germany. It took several months, but that time really bonded me to the car in a way that just showing up at a dealership and "driving off" never could have done.

Besides, your new baby will arrive just in time for good top-down weather!
