It's the shifter. I don't think this car will have a sound enhancer. The third picture has me wondering, what that module/part is on the right side of the pic located on/in the cowl. Is that the infamous engine sound enhancer?
Yes it is the shifter! It's the shifter. I don't think this car will have a sound enhancer.

Thanks for sharing!Just to add to the abarth discussion.. there are some very nice looking mopar accessories as shown in this catalog: http://mopar-original-accessories.satiz.it/124_spider/it/#22
A user from Italy provided the link.
aluminum pedal covers page 23.
Check page 28 for another diagram. --> Download the PDF version, and you can really zoom in on that schematic.
See the strut bar with the 'Abarth' logo...
Translation on the Strut bar description per Google Translate:
Strut BAR
The Strut bar is installed to minimize
the vehicle weight transfer.
This way your not 124 Spider
lose traction while driving . This
Stabilizer needs mounting kit
to be properly implemented .
Agree. This is a better looking engine cover. The first image is a clear view of the Record Monza exhaust for the car. I also can't help but notice the different/new engine cover I have not yet seen before for the Abarth 124. Initially, the Abarth 124 Spider was revealed with an all carbon-fiber engine cover. The production car has the one shown in the photo, which I think looks way better than the Classica/Lusso engine cover.
I love the second photo because it shows how much of a front-mid engined car it is. Thumbs up here.
The third picture has me wondering, what that module/part is on the right side of the pic located on/in the cowl. Is that the infamous engine sound enhancer?
I'm just stating the car I'm going to purchase in my sig.Agree. This is a better looking engine cover.
A bit confused. Your post indicates "2018", yet the Fiat website offers a configurator for a 2017 Abarth. Is the release of the Abarth going to be delayed?
Given that the MX5 and Spider interiors are nearly identical, several accessories are already available via Mazda (I personally like the red air conditioning vent trim). Wonder if they have the same or similar pedal. The Abarth's pedals do indeed look good.reading further, the abarth comes standard with "Aluminum Accent Sport Pedals"... I really want these for my Lusso.. hopefully the accessories hit the market soon.
I really think the abarth is going to be one awesome looking car!
