Sport mode on manual Abarth?

On a manual Abarth, what does the Sports mode selector actually do? I understand that it can hold gears for sportier upshifts and downshifts on an automatic model, but what about on a manual? I cannot imagine this is adjusting the suspension....

Anyone know? Thanks!!
