Hello my fellow canadians! There's a similar thread on the forum mainly alimented by our south neighboors, so I start a new one here in the Canada section.

OK, let me start it. I plan to buy a new 124 Abarth in the coming weeks or months and today I've just scheduled a test drive with a local FCA dealer. Since there's many FCA dealers in my area (Quebec City) I plan to shop and negociate my Abarth before committing to order. What can I expect as a negociated discount price for a fully loaded Abart (manual + 5500$ luxury) apart FCA discount and promo (actually 2500$ off + 0% apr)?

The Abarth I'm looking for is a manual, Griggio aluminium + Luxury package. There's no one like this in Quebec City but there is at least one in Montreal, and a few salesman I spoke to over the phone told me there's no problem to get a car in other dealer stock within 500km. But I suspect they will be less prone to negociate a good price in this situation since they have to pay for shipping car on a float...

What you guys have paid for your 124? Did you get a good dealer discount? Was it already in your dealer stock?

As a side note I also have a test drive next week on a 2016 ND GT. These are at great discount now... My hearth is with the 124 Abarth (I much prefer the 124 styling) but who knows...

I had a very good deal at Longue Pointe Chrysler Fiat, Ordered it in October 2016, It was a Lusso manual Red, then upgraded to Abarth, till I went to test drive it and the Sales Manager was waiting for me, bottom line you could get a better price if the car you're looking for is on the LOT, then ordering it. I got the Abarth, red manual, with Luxury package, for $45,xxxk tax in.
Plus free accessories such as Abarth cover worth $400, Plus TAG(took) Valeur a neuf), Lock nuts and took the 7 years 0%. Now if you know the dealer that has your car, call him and see what's the best price.

I know for Xmas they had 2,500 off plus 500. for xmas plus another 500. discount rebate after taxes. Maybe for Easter them may give more discount.
I know Jan, Feb they sold less than 100 spiders. Be tough. Good luck

Ask for Luigi and tell him Frank M. sent you, the guy is very reasonable and you can bargain.

Thanks Frank. The Abarth I'm after is at Pie-IX. I'll check locally first, but nothing to loose having a phone call to Longue Pointe and Pie-IX.

My experience with Pie ix was that they did not budge much. Longue Pointe is only 3km away from Pie ix, Try both and see. Talk to Luigi at Longue point, He should be back from vacation April 04.

Finally I took the plunge!

I put a deposit today on a stick shift, deluxe package Grigio Argento 124 Abarth. I've done an 500km inventory search around Toronto / Quebec City / Moncton and this is the last manual Grigio Abarth in eastern Canada. This car get the exact configuration I was wishing for excepting the black/red seats.

I attached pics of my car at Pie-IX dealer in Montreal. My dealer will get it transported to Quebec City on a float for me. I asked to deliver it on my birthday in a couple of weeks and let the snow completly melt.... it will be a long wait!

And the pricing... I got current FCA 2500$ rebate + 0% APR up to 84 month. I was able to negociate 3000$ off including the Fiat 124 exterior cover + lock nuts. I also got a lifetime oil change + brake pads + tire replacement policy (it's a dealer promo).

I would have a few hundred more if I would have choosen an equivalent Rosso Abarth in the local dealer inventory but gray is my favorite color on this car. Gray metallic is easier color to maintain too in the long run.

My salesman also told if the current FCA incentives change in April, I will have access to it since my delivery date is in april!

Wolf Félicitation, Glad you got it, did you negotiate with Pie ix or your Quebect dealer. Ask for the ABARTH cover instead if you can. Normally in the summer I come to Quebec city to play golf with a friend of mine and vice versa. If time permits maybe we could meet have a beer together. Cheers

Thanks Frank! I negociate it at my local dealer (Sainte-Foy Chrysler). I maybe wrong but I think the Abarth cover is for interior use only. I need the exterior cover since I don't have a garage. I have a big pine over my driveway that use to drop some resin during hot summer days. I don't wan't that on my new baby!

It would be great to have a meet. My english (speaking) isn't great but usually with a beer or two "derrière la cravate" this won't be a problem.

We'll do it in French or after 2 pichet will do it in Italian. LOL I'll ping you ahead of time when I come down. I should take mine out next time hopefully the pot holes are repaired.

Thanks! Rare color too, mostly white / red / black automatics in dealers inventory.

Quebec City to Toronto would be heck of a long drive (already done that once in my past) for a two places roadster but Montreal or even Ottawa events are feasible.
