Getting winter tires mounted on the stock wheels next week and looking to buy a set of wheels for summer.

So far I am thinking of these:

This is for a white Lusso.

The car is my wife's and will never be tracked or anything so don't need top of the line wheels, but looking for sggestions.

Also will keep my eye out for some Abarth wheels in the classifieds.

Just my two cents but I checked the weight on these and they already come in at 17lbs for the 16x7" model and given that you are likely to move up to the next larger 17x7.5' model (weight not specified), I can only imagine that your DAI's will come in at 19+ lbs. From my point of view, wheels are the best, singular opportunity to reduce unsprung, rotating weight, a "best bang for the buck" variable you will notice in acceleration, braking and cornering especially coming from the 22+ lbs OEM wheels. If it were me and I was trying to make a cosmetic as well as a noticeable preformance improvement, I would spend a few more bucks and opt for the Enkei's that weigh in at 15.5lbs. And of course you can spend more from there....

Those look good. I would add some Abarth scorpion emblem center caps to go with them if it were me. Solid black wheels start to look too dark to me compared to the oem abarth wheels which have scorpion emblems.

Absolutely! Anyway, I feel safer. Oops. I mean I felt safer driving mine than driving the SUV. The SUV just doesn’t stop when I hit the brakes…

Anyway, there. I put a price on my Abarth wheels in the classifieds. If someone takes them then great - otherwise they become my winter wheels really quickly here!

These wheels came on my Lusso and I didn't like em. I was lucky enough to find a fellow Canadian who had a set of original Lusso wheels and purchased them . These DAI wheels are for sale now. They are very close to like new condition with only very very minor imperfections that are hardly...

Wheel opinions are fickle. If ancient, like me @73, I grew up in an era when chrome was a must have. When black wheels hit the scene, I thought "why would anyone want wheels the same color as brake dust? I now feel like a relic that only watches black and white Perry Mason thinking "I'm glad it's not in color". It's a burden I carry. But if you love them, I love that you love them because growth and diversity is healthy.
I recently bought a 2022 Honda Ridgeline, dark blue to match the Mare Blue 2020 Lusso. Anyway, it came with darker grey alloy wheels. I asked the salesman if he would include a Honda certificate stating these were the ugliest wheels in the history of the world? Young guy looked at me said people love this color. You can imagine my first mod - a set of chrome wheels befitting my disturbed perspective.

I feel the same way FlyDex. My 1979 Fiat Spider came with these

obviously harking back to the days of real spoked wheels. Auto design has many examples of paying homage to past design like a "landau roofs" like

My Lusso came with black and red aftermarket wheels that were too flashy for me and I found some original Lusso wheels to replace them. For me, I like the original wheels but I can certainly see how someone without my history might think the original wheels look "old school" and prefer something more modern.
