I experienced some strange behaviour with my tire pressure sensor over the weekend. After a driving for a while on hot summer asphalt my tire pressure sensor went off as I drove through a puddle of water on the roadway (coincidental probably). I stopped at the next gas station to investigate and no apparent loss of pressure in any tire. I rest the tire pressure sensor and continued to drive without incident.
The following day, again after driving for around an hour, the tire pressure sensor went off after going over a bump in the pavement. I followed the same process as the day before and no other issues for the remainder of my three hour drive.
Faulty sensor? Or something else. Anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

It sounds like your dealer forgot to set up your TPMS. Go to my post here and simply do it yourself. http://www.124spider.org/forum/12-w...-tire-pressure-monitor-indicator-light-2.html

Install you chassis plugs while you're at it, since they probably didn't do that either.

Yep, tire pressure was over 50 psi on all tires.
