Considering buying one of these vs Miata vs FRS/BRZ/86 for autocross. Curious how the gearing is on the car and what the top speed in 2nd gear is.

The only information I have, which may be wrong/outdated, is NC miata transmission (same ratios?) and 6250 redline. Which is a top speed of around 54mph if I recall, which would be a deal breaker for me lol. For reference new 86 is 57mph for the incoming model, higher for outgoing.

I'm hoping they did not go the 2011 -> 2012 Civic SI route of having the same ratios in an engine with 1000 less rpms.

Thanks for the help.

Basically comes out to being identical to the new version of the Toyota/Subaru twins, 58 mph.
