May be different in the UK but I have had no trouble. The dealer gave me a touch-up pack with the car when I picked it up - Passione Red.
I have used it already for a very minor chip - the size of pin head, and it worked.

My paint was actually damaged at the dealer during the rear license plate install (there isn't much clearance below the trunk lid for a power tool with a fat chuck). Dealer was very apologetic and wanted to take care of it but had no projected availability for touch up paint.. I contacted FiatUSA about availability and was promptly and politely advised there is currently no projected date for US availability and I should just continue to check with my studio. Reading between the lines seems to point toward at least mid 2017. But that's a guess on my part.
The paint codes on the build decals are in Mazda format but are not Mazda colors.

Chrysler seems to be in no hurry to offer support products for the Spider. I would really like to get a touch up paint pen. Anyone know where to find a comparable color? I have the Meteor grey.
I bought my FIAT touch up paint in Bianco Perla on Amazon.

I had a small chip too and got the touchup pen from my dealer. However, the color doesn't seem to be an exact match. The paint code on my door panel is actually a Mazda paint code (A4D Arctic White). I wonder if the Fiat equivalent (Bianco Gelato) is actually equivalent, or maybe the quality of the touch up paint is bad. Gonna go to a Mazda dealer and get some A4D to see if it makes any difference.

There are actually two different whites for the Fiat...the Bianco Perla and the Gelato. Maybe they gave you the wrong white?

Not sure if they gave me the wrong white, but the Mazda paint turned out to be a perfect match.

Anyone else having paint chip problems, I'd recommend matching the paint code on the door panel. If it's a Mazda code, get the Mazda paint.

Now the hard part... smoothing out the paint blob :mad::mad:

According to my brochure they are the same.

So the paint that I got from Fiat has the code PWV, which is not even a Fiat paint code. Actually, maybe I shouldn't say it's from Fiat, it's more like a Mopar shared between a Chrysler and a Fiat dealership. The paint is Alpine White for Jeep/Chryslers.

I wonder if it's because there is no Fiat version of the touch up pen yet, so they ordered something similar and hoped I wouldn't notice.

Safest bet is to just match the paint code. There can always be naming conflicts between different paints from different manufacturers, but paint codes are unique.

The color code on the door of my Argento Grigio (aluminum) 124 is 38P, which is a Mazda code (liquid silver). I just ordered some from a Mazda dealer online ($12) and will see how well it matches on a driver's side door-edge chip which the dealer kindly provided...

Hi

I bought a touch up paint pen from Amazon. It was a 2015 or 2016 Fiat Rosso (red) color. I had a door edge nick. The paint matches perfectly - I can't see where the nick was anymore and the cost was around $15.
I couldn't find anything for Rosso Red on Amazon and already have a chip on my door. Can you give a specific amazon #? The door code came up with zero hits on any site, Mazda, Fiat or otherwise.

Tia,

Mark

A unique option, maybe. A friend has an antique LOTUS which is red and needed a touch up with no paint pen or touch up paint any longer available. He went to Walgreen's and the cosmetics lady took several red nail polishes out and they picked the closest red and it matched perfectly. With so many colors of nail polish available these days (I am a woman with a nail polish collection so I know) it might be an option if needed right away. Just food for thought.
