Understood. But I still say WTF!
The comment about tall drivers makes me wonder if they reverse the flooring on right hand drivers as well as the dash. On my left hander the passenger gets less leg room...something I didn't realize until I let my wife drive. The good news is that even though she had fun, I only fit on the driver side so I'll be doing all the driving.
