Greetings fellow Spider-drivers! I recently took delivery of an Anniversary model here in the UK, the "limited edition" Passione Red model that was supposed to be around for several weeks before the regular models became available. I ordered it way back in May, but in their infinite wisdom, FIAT UK did not make the cars available in time for the 1st September when the new "66" registation plates came out (In the UK we still have age-related license plates, "16" came out on 1st March, with "66" coming out September 1st, and the next one is "17" next March 1st) and the launch weekend that has just happened pretty much coincided with the Anniversary models arriving, indeed some Anniversary owners still have not collected their cars yet.

I've been driving FIATs since my first 1971 850 Saloon, from there progressing to 124 Spiders, and I still have a 1985 Pininfarina SpiderEuropa, the very last iteration of the original 124 Spider. When I saw the pictures of the Anniversary model, I was hoping that the Passione Red was as dark as it looked, but in reality it is lighter and not such a close match to the metallic red of the SpiderEuropa (which is more of a burgundy colour, have a look in my Garage). I've hardly driven any miles yet in the new one, but it seems great so far.

I'm hoping that you guys over there in the US don't mind us Europeans joining in, but this new forum looks fab!

Welcome from west coat of Canada. Love your '85, brings back memories. Would have bought a red Lusso if it was that shade of red. My first car was a 1970 850 coupe in red (sample picture in my garage). Is your 2017 an auto or manual? All the Primas coming onto Canada were auto, so went with manual Lusso.
