Abarths are now arriving at local US dealers!

hopefully this isn't like when some dealers posted cars when they had just been allotted and instead of when they arrived

It is although what everyone is saying is they should be arriving this week or next. The dealership I'm dealing with in FL says they're first one coming is going to be white with the comfort package but doesnt have an exact date.

I was mistaken and they are indeed here at some dealers. I was able to lock this one down and should have everything finalized by the end of the week!

You lucky dog. Congrats!!! Red seats with MT and luxury package: Exactly what I want.

Brembo brakes? Seems someone said that they might not be on the first U.S. shipment.

Lastly, are you getting any discount off of MSRP?

Thanks! I cant wait to get all the paperwork finalized and say its officially mine. It doesnt have brembo brakes which is fine with me since I can add the wilwoods Brian offers on his site at a later time.

Unfortunately it's at MSRP and not less because they're so new but I should be getting something like $500 off since that's what they offer for the SE region. If I previously owned a FCA vehicle I could have gotten 1k off as well.

Just got two dropped off at Ray Skillman Alfa Romeo Fiat. Red stick and a black automatic.

Not trying to be nit-picky here.. but the wheel badge is not the Abarth logo

Can't have everything I guess!

I thought the same thing about the sticker at the center of the steering wheel. Hopefully the aftermarket has Abarth replacements.

Yep, also looks like there's no "Scorpion" logo on the center console.

Either way, I will still be in the market to buy one...still looks beautiful

I'm not sure honestly. I was hoping I could find one without it in case I didnt like or whatever.

Please ASAP post a good sound clip of the US-spec 124 Abarth exhaust.

Agree. I'm curious. I've heard the European Record Monza on YouTube. Stevenvillatoro, is the US-spec 124 Abarth exhaust note to be different?

Yes, ours will not be as rowdy as the Record Monza exhaust. I'm eager to hear our version, and glad that it'll be more subdued than the 500 Abarth.

I'm confident that they've found the right note and the right volume.

it looks l ike it's the scorpion which is the same wheel badge as 500 abarth.

Surprised the steering wheel doesnt have an abarth logo

These cars obviously avoided the trip to Detroit for the Heritage Stripe painting - I'm thinking that all the badge changes are included in that expensive option/process. I personally like this version better!

my understanding from other posts is that the steering wheel did not get it's certification soon enough to have the scorpion logo on it. that maybe next year they will.

It looks like the center console and lower dash do not have alcantera trim either. Will this be offered only with the Recaro seats if it is offered in the us at all?

I fell in love with the EU spec abarth but the US spec feels a lot less special. At least they changed their mind on branding it a Fiat and making Abarth the trim, it's a shame they didn't do this in time to get the Abarth steering wheel.

We are missing:
No Record Monza exhaust but can buy a dealer installed Mopar exhaust
No standard Brembos
No alcantera trim with the leather seats
No Abarth steering wheel with Scorpian and Red line
No Abarth badging with Italian flag on the side
No Abarth plaque on the inside
Heritage option isn't free
No red trim with Heritage option
No blue Abarths

Fiat really threw us under the bus. Probably not a very bright move for Fiat's Abarth launch into what might be their largest market. I'm really disappointed in all of the 'deletes'.

Thus, I'll be having to customize my Abarth myself, using local shops, in my effort to get the EU spec effect. Like you, I fell in love with what I was seeing in the EU.
