My usb thumb drive is 64gb and works fine. It must be usb2.0, formatted to FAT32, which Windows 10 will not do - its limit for formatting to FAT32 is 32gb. But there are utility applets available on the internet that enable larger drives to be formatted. Google guiformat.exe
