ok.. So I know folks are looking for manuals.

You can actually use the fiatusa.com website to narrow, however its a multi-step process.

1) Start with this link:
http://www.fiatusa.com/hostc/sni/IU...16&options=DAG&ccode=IUX201707BAFS27A&llp=2DS
you can optionally modify zip code to be your local. this will adjust the distance to all dealers from that zip, but the radius of 10000 gets the whole US.
You may have to modify the zip code via the webpage..

2) You need to make the following changes to the form:
A) REQUIRED: Vehicle Details - Edit ----> Unselect the Lusso Model (none of the models checked)
B) OPTIONAL: Change "Show:" to "50 Vehicles per Page" from the perselect "10 Vehicles Per Page"

Its just the results now that show "EXACT MATCH". Any others such as "HIGH MATCH" are unlikely to have manuals..

NOTE: There might be a way to do 2A and 2B from the URL, but I spent enough time already backing into this procedure. Feel free to simplify the A step in 2 via change.

Happy Hunting!

As of right now.. The results show 50 Manuals (not all VINs are clickable, my guess is these might be sold already) in the US via the search.. 403 total cars listed in the US.
Also.. on Monday the total US results showed 653 cars listed.. So it dropped over 200 cars in 3 days.. However this is totally non-scientific result, as the data set variability is unknown.

DISCLAIMER: Procedure might not work for all users. Play around.. It seems the option code of DAG is for Manual. Other options in the URL are linked together...
One other big find was RADIUS=10000 is equivalent of selecting 200+ from the web site.

Thanks. I just downloaded the owner's manual. This might be the first time I perused an owner's manual BEFORE purchasing a car, lol. Great to discover two extra storage bins behind the seats, and learn more about the lane departure system.

I have a Mazda 6 with the BSM (Blind spot monitoring) It has been valuable a few times for that whoops I should have looked a bit closer moment.
Even in the much smaller 124 spider, I still find it as a valuable aid.

As of this morning.. 777 listings for the 124 spider on fiatusa.com
2 (yes only 2) are manual lusso
118 are manual classica
* You results may vary...

So the manuals for classica are definitely out there...

I wish it could be set up to provide alerts. However, I expect this thread to light up when Abarths become available. Maybe even when the first ships carrying them sail.

Thanks! Wow! 882. That has to be pretty much the complete load of the first two ships, east and west coast. Seems like I recall that number is pretty close to what was expected to be delivered with the first two ships from Japan.

Unfortunately, when you do a "manual" search with the Fiat site, a number of manual Classicas do indeed show up but when you actually pull up the Window sticker, you find it's really an automatic. For the Fiat site, it's possibly a combination of their system not working correctly to identify actual manual transmissions with a search and incorrect specific vehicle transmission data being loaded into the system, the old "crap in, crap out" situation.

I was finding the same thing - It'll say they had an exact match to my search but actually not even close. A manual tranny is not an automatic!

I've never often found these "inventory searches" unreliable. Dealers reply (not always truthfully) that found cars have already been sold or are "tagged" for a customer.

Really? Did you try my instructions? I spot checked the results many times, and I have yet to encounter an "exact match" that is anything other than a manual.
In fact you can tell just from the MSRP.

classica manual:
25990 manual
27285 manual with tech package

classica auto:
27340 auto
28635 auto with tech package

Lusso manual:
28490 manual
32285 manual with premium package

There is a few anomalies due to shipping where the prices may vary by $50 for certain states.
For Lusso, the other anomoly is the $595 add on for the tri-coat white.

Well, just a search of "Classicas" and "manual" does now indeed show actual manuals, when compared to the window sticker, at least from randomly checking some of the listings. The key, at least when I did it today, ;), is just to select Classica and just look at the "High Matches." The color choices should be updated, though, to reflect the actual available Spider colors. The current search options are "red, black, gray, and silver."

Also, forget a "manual" search, for a minute. If you're looking for an automatic Lusso, it doesn't appear to give you an option on the interiors, to choose between "saddle" or "black." And why is there an option to search for "2015" and "2016" Spiders, just as another nit to pick? :)

791 is the new count
132 manual classica.. no manual lusso any more!

So assuming the numbers are rather accurate, and no more dealer deliveries or adds on the 882 that I showed yesterday..

this would mean sales of 9 manual classica + 3 manual lusso.. = 12
Followed by 91-12= 79 (classica + lusso) automatics.
