The photo of the 124 Spider they chose to use for the poll shows the car at a greater distance (smaller) than the others and it kind of disappears into a very busy background. It's really not that good at showing off the car's great looks. Out of all the photos of the 124 Spider they could have used, it's disappointing they chose the one they did. I wonder if it was purposeful.

Pretty sure that's a stock picture from Fiat. Possibly of its choosing? I'm actually more disappointed with the category. Yes, the car looks great, but how it drives is what interests me.

Bizzarre. Maybe it's the FCA "errands" car of 124 drivers? ?

Luckily, the headline will only mention the winner... the 124, by a landslide!

For a nationwide (international?) site, the number of votes is surprisingly low. Voting is also more lopsided than I'd expect. Alfa Romeo Giulia the runaway luxury car leader? I'm not even sure I consider the Giulia a luxury car. Only 3% of votes for the NSX? It's a lot better-looking (IMO) than the Lincoln Continental. At least it's doing better in the performance category. No surprise that Tesla is leading the green car category. However, I'm quite impressed with the Chevy Bolt. The Smart fortwo? Really? Does anyone remember how the Miata did last year?

I guess considering what a poor photo that is of the Spider I'm amazed that it has such a high percentage of votes. Hopefully that means people have seen other photos or maybe even the car. It looks great up close.

Actually, it made it to 51%, but then slipped.

It's conceivable that we could fall below 50% again if other cars like the Aston Martin keep picking up votes.
