Today......Oil Change, Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 in the Differential and Manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 in the gear box. Easy peazy with the EZ pour packs.....my first shift into 5th was reflexively smooth rather than notchy. More than I could ask....

For those interested in a bolt-on midpipe that fits after the Eurocompulsion crosspipe, I just bolted on the 60mm Ragazzon midpipe (Ragazzon's "Fiat" version, not the 70mm "Abarth" version) between my 2.25" (57mm) Eurocompulsion crosspipe and my 2.25" (57mm) Auto Ricambi axle-back exhaust. It is a direct fit and its 60mm diameter is just a 3mm wider than the 57mm crosspipe and the 57mm of the AutoRicambi exhaust,....... and it is 13% wider than the OEM 53mm midpipe (which also crimps down to 51mm & 50mm in spots, see photos). Despite it being Ragazzon's "Fiat version", it is meant to run straight through without the resonator which is precisely how 124 Abarth's are exhausted (shout out to one of our members and the vendor, Evolved, who provided great service with the sale).

Big weekend as I cleaned up 1/2 of my mod collection. As explained above about the new 63mm Ragazzon midpipe, also added Powerflex Differential Mount Inserts (street), Swift Spec-R (268/134lbs) springs, BBS RF 17x7 Wheels (14.3lbs) along with new Amsoil fluids (Oil, M Transmission and Differential). Oh joy......Will report impressions on relevant treads.

Please do report how you like the springs. Glad you went with them I was beginning to think all my praise for them was in vain. Also do check out my impressions of them on my canyon carver thread. I would love to compare notes. Lastly if you installed sways hood on you, and would like feedback on the brand and how they perform. So far I have had feedback on the swift paired with eibach? How ever you spell it sways and I was thinking of going racing beat as I have fantastic luck with them. Over all love the look you have achieved and hope to do the midpipe some time too.

Love them and will be selling the Eibach's. Purchased the Swifts almost a year ago but they sat idling on my garage floor as I was stressing whether or not the 268/134 lbs Swift's would be too taut vis a vis my installed 188/103 Eibach springs. I also worried about the 1.4" front/1.3" rear drop vs the 1.0" of my previously installed Eibach. That said, I relied upon some of the great information posted by Murix, Julia & youself regarding your experimentations with spring rates, and I weighed these vs the near universal praise of the Eibach as well as my own experience....Finally, I bit the bullet and made the switch last week. I really like the Swifts. Although my previous Eibach's were terrific (compliant and comfortable), I really had nothing to worry about with the higher specced Swifts as my butt finds them tighter, a tad less "bobbly" and still comfy for everyday driving. Drop is fine without being "slammed". Just spitballing......I would sum up the change as a driving performance and confidence improvement of roughly 15% when I hurl this girl around town. You did good......PS. Sitting on a pair of Cusco sway bars that won't go in until I do some intercooler work.....

Smart man, I also have an intercooler awaiting the purchase of my sway bars, although I was told if only replacing the core as I am it causes no interference with the sway bar install. I actually have Murix’s previous setup. Swift springs factory Abarth struts, and Goodwin shortened bump stops. I love the no BS set up of not having a bunch of adjustments. Just works as is and as we both agree they work brilliantly. I am so glad they worked out for you as well, I hate recommending something and having it be a dud. I don’t admit to knowing everything, but I know how I like cars to feel and these springs make the cars feel right. Oh btw I held off on installing the springs as well, due to fear of fitment with my 17x9 wheels. I delighted when everything fit absolutely perfect!

Mikeydred's Matrimonial "Hot Tip" of the Day: The next time the significant other commenses the standard 8 hour silent treatment for some microaggression, instead of sheepishly doing kitchen or yard detail, stride over to that 124 in the garage and install some more red bits in the engine bay. You will not only gain a measure of alluring unpredictability, but also magical horsepower in the process.......

End of the season. Gave her a wash and dry (thank you ceramic coating). Then did an oil and filter change... and tucked her under her blanket for winter hibernation.

Installed new wheels and tires.

Wheel Tire Car Vehicle Hood

Each wheel weighs about 5 pounds less than what was previously mounted.

The weight difference is noticeable in both the quickness of the steering and the ease of acceleration. The weather hasn't been great, so I haven't had a chance to fully compare the Continentals to the Michelins, but I didn't notice any significant difference in NVH between them.

The weight difference was less than I expected based on the wheel weight of the Alleggerita HLTs which weigh between 14.25 and 14.6 pounds. The Abarth wheels and Michelin 215/45 PS4S tires with about half tread life remaining weigh 40.8 pounds. I believe the new wheel/tire combination weighs about 36 pounds.

Just got back from the wrap shop and we put on the Three Hundred Carbon Fiber Side Skirts and Duckbill. It's getting the final stages of wrap done, and i'm going back in a bit to put on the front lip, rear diffuser, wide body fender kit and will take it for a first test drive and fingers crossed no rubbing.

Over the last few weeks:
Added Diode Dynamics footwell kit that i also extended to cure the lack of trunk lighting. (Nevermind the center console missing, some shifty business still in progress 👀)
Along with that but not pictured was a full LED upgrade of all exterior lighting and interior lighting as well as adding 4th brake lights in the CHMSL with a flasher module.
While in the trunk, I added deadening and also took that to the doors and added foam pads to prevent future rattles.
lastly and not picured, added a catch can of generic variety.
