Has anyone ordered or installed the Windscreen Part # 68307694AA ?

I found one in Sacramento, CA at a Dealer for $439.00 plus shipping. I can wait to get one as I do go to Sacramento a lot to see my son. Just wondering how well they work and I think they are Glass also. Looks larger than the stock one which is almost useless. The one that the Saturn Sky uses is nice so I expect this one will be similar.

If you have one please post pictures and how you like it, cost etc.....

Thanks, Ken

Ouch, that's rather pricy. I've seen the windscreen at shows. It's rather tall, so operating the convertible top is a bit cumbersome if you are sitting in the driver's seat. No problem if you are outside of the car. Looks nice.

My 350Z had a glass windscreen, and I have the stock mesh on my 124. Honestly, I think that putting up the side windows is what quiets the cabin down and reduces wind more than anything else.

I too believe the cost is a little to high I think they will come down in the future. As all accessories do. The picture posted above was from the Dealer in Sacramento I was referring g to. Hope I can se other posts from others who have purchase one of these
Try Quirk parts on line for Mopar part numbers. They have good discounts and shipping cost isn't crazy like some on line stores.
Surely would be a pain putting the roof down from inside the car? Unless you were very tall.

There are numerous Mopar parts places listing it for $291 to $294. But, there are some led lit plexiglass screens that one could get for the solstice that had the logo show up in red....I'd think that would look even cooler if there were one for the spider.

ssh16 from the miata forums produces acrylic versions in short + tall versions with or without logos. If someone gets him a vector file of the 124 logo, I'm sure he'll add that to his offerings for $120. He also offers a LED kit to illuminate the logo.

Hay guy's how about listing the vendors sites for your info as to Mopar part Places to purchase from? I will look into the suggestion you had for ssh16, thanks ameridan

Also not to hard to stop and get out of vehicle to put the top is if necessary doing while driving is dangerous and when stopped it only takes a second to get out and in again.

I figured ameridan would know the answer. I'll have to look into it. I really liked the one I had on the Solstice.

I really want a glass sunscreen rather than a acrylic one. I think Mopar has a Glass one for $285 plus tax and shipping cost. Still a little pricy for the part. I am interested in trying to remove the plastic screen and replace it with a glass one. But not sure it is possible yet. I don't think it can be done.

If the part ever comes down to around $100 I would be willing to buy a Glass one.

Here is one I have ordered from WindRestrictor.com for $389.00 with delivery. It maintains the OEM shape making it easier to raise and lower the top while seated in the Spider. In the attached picture where it shows: 124spider, I have paid extra for custom etching. In that space it will show the same wording as my Vanity Plate, 124 ZOOM. The whole thing is lighted and will look great at night. Even has an on/off switch so I can sit somewhere listing to my music without adding any additional drain on the battery. :)

I ordered the same one - same shape. I've had WindRestrictor before - on my Solstice. This time I opted not to get the lighting kit because as cool as the lit one looked on the Solstice, it really got annoying after a while driving at night and seeing that through the rear view mirror. I can always add lighting later if I want. But - the company makes absolutely first rate products. Highly recommended. It's supposed to arrive today so I'll post a pic.

I have one on order also with Abarth lit in red to match. Can't wait
I am getting ready to order a large WindRestrictor, with etching and RED illumination option #1 which is the logo 124spider. I also ordered a dimmer module. I ordered the larger shape as I am not too concerned about opening and closing the top when seated in the vehicle.
The total cost was $307.60 delivered. I used a promo code and got 10% off the cost as I found a coupon code on line by using the company name. This is the code I used GLOWIN4U it is good 7/24/17. I got a discount of $31.40 off the total price. Not to bad. Cost is a little more than I would have liked to pay but it is a one time cost and after talking to the customer service advisor on the site chat I was very impressed with the company and how they handle customers. I would recommend this company to anyone who is interested in buying from them. I will post pictures when I finish the install.
Here is my Windrestrictor in place. $275. I got the non lit version.

Ken - I went ahead and ordered the lighting kit and added it. However - when I got to the specified wiring harness along the driver door, I could not find a pink wire with a silver stripe. Black ones, green ones and purple ones with the silver stripe but not a pink one. Even had my wife look for me. Did you install yours? Did you find a wire that works? WindRestrictor folks aren't sure but are working on it. But if you solved it - what wire did you use?

Looks good kpoling, does it actually help any with the wind? I had one of their windscreens on my corvette some years ago, I liked it, it looked great but I didn't notice any real difference.
It's not a huge difference at in town speeds. Haven't had a chance at highway speeds yet. Seems a little quieter during conversations.

Kpoling:
I have not yet installed it but I will look for a power 12v wire inside the area of the seat belt first then move to the drivers side door. I will use a 12v power light indicator to find a wire that is only hot when ignition is on. I'll be install it this week so I'll add pictures if I can.
I'm concerned about detaching the unit so I'm considering adding pull apart connectors that hide into the 5/16 hole the instructions suggest. That way I can detach the screen when I want to. Just make sure you have a way to tie them so you won't Loose them down the hole.
