Last summer (2024) I fell in love with the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth and I found the one I wanted far from home (out of state so I had to pay the premiums and shipping) in the color (Chiaro Silver Metallic) and optional equipment I wanted with Recaro Leather / Alcantara® Sport Seat, Convenience Group, Navigation & Sound Group, Brembo 4–Wheel Disc Performance Brakes and especially the Record Monza Exhaust. I also have the Veleno Appearance Group, but I'm unsure about the red side mirror caps and lip (I would prefer black or gun metal to match), but I have not changed yet. It would have been nice to also have the visibility group with roving headlights, but I'm plenty happy without them. When I bought the car, it had the Eurocompulsion V4 air induction kit, but I had to swap it out for stock to get the car smogged and registered in California. I'll probably put it back after I get the car smogged next year and have it in for a couple of years until my next smog check requirement. It drives noticeable better with the V4 air induction kit even without any other tuning or mods. It's a shame that these are not available (to my knowledge) with CA smog certification, especially with the red hoses that match the Veleno appearance red accents.
I love this car. It brings me so much joy. Through the forum, I hope to connect with Abarth 124 owners and especially any owners and events in Southern California.
