Clutch peddle to the floor

I am reaching out to the forum for advice. I have a 2018 Lusso with 65k miles on it. I'm the only owner and use the car as a daily driver. I do have the Mopar warranty. The car is driven in the NYC area and Jersey Shore with trips to TOD and Sunday trips to upstate NY.
When coming home this past Sunday from a Coffee and Cars in upstate I was about a half a mile from home when the pedal went to the floor and didn't come back up. Since about June I have been having a hard time shifting gears. I pulled the pedal up and pumped it a few times. This seemed to work. I'm afraid to take a long drive as I'm worried I will lose the clutch far from home. Mopar doesn't cover anything to do with the clutch or any parts associated with it. Some have said it might be the clutch master cylinder or the actuator. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Check the brake/clutch fluid level (they share the same fluid).

Check for fluid leaks under car.

Consider replacing and bleeding the fluid.

Check clutch slave cylinder... they have been know to fail on the MX5/Miata. Easy to replace.

Also, check the clutch pedal return spring is seated correctly and pedal travel is not obstructed by a foreign object.

Take the car to a clutch specialist.

Good Luck.

From experience with another car: change your brakefluid.
It deteriorates over time as it is hygroscopic (attracts water).
When there is enough water in it you won't be able to shift (or brake).
When it happened to my car (a small van) it had exactly the same symptoms as the TS is describing.
