Hello I posted in a fiat 500 engine with no help. Every time I good I get good answers from this forum so I figured I’d ask for some help here:
I have a 2013 fiat 500 pop 1.4l multi air non turbo. I just replace the engine with a junkyard engine. It just won’t start the engine has zero compression, I’ve tried priming the multi air brick by pressing the ball valve, pouring a little oil down the oil filter, I think it was clogged maybe because it was full of oil until I pushed the black piece down and the oil drained down, I also drained about a qt of oil and refiled it through the top with fresh oil, I’ve been cranking at it for 2 days now I get a popping sound from the intake but that’s it.
I also just took off the valve covers and manual pumped oil into all the relief holes in hear pocket. They all shoot oil out so I’m guessing it’s primed but no compression still.
Edit:
oil pressure light goes off does that mean pump is primed? Sorry for bad videos I had it saved on my phone just to show cranking but you can make out the oil light in the fuzz. Motor is now out and junkyard is supposed to find me a replacement
Any help to get it started would be greatly appreciated
