So my gas cap is defective and I ned a replacement. Tried ordering twice and got this the last time:

While reviewing your order (Order 363546) for processing I've discovered an issue. Part #68336544AA is currently on national backorder with the automotive manufacturer and has no estimated date of resupply.

Does anyone know where I can get one? I've got money just no idea where to go.

They are on international backorder.

I would not be surprised if other caps fit, they look standard to me.

They are not standard and no other will fit. National backorder.

It appears that the valve inside the cap is not working and the gas cap seal is no longer sealing when I turn it one click. I tried greasing the gas cap seal but that only worked for about 50 miles before the P1CEA code was back. Does anyone have the drive procedure to reset the P1CEA code?

Got my cap ordered from Amazon supposed to be here in 3 days I'll update this and let everyone know if it's all above board I'll share the link. (otherwise I'm not linking them )

Amazon does not have an OEM gas cap. Only a Stelintis dealer will have the correct part as no one else makes it. PART # 68336544AA

Mazda miata gas cap is the same. Look at the detailed photos of the one in the below link and compare to the one on your fiat - same writing, same spaced plastic threads, same center spring, same retainer, same molded indentations, etc. Of all the things to make different between the fiat and the miata, the gas cap would have been the most senselessly wasteful. They're the same. They're $40.

Why someone was saying above that they are different, I cannot fathom.
