I noticed today when entering the freeway that I have no power in 3rd, can't get up to 4th and can't make 60 mph. 1st and 2nd seem fine though transmission whine (automatic) seems louder/wheezier than usual. Turned back to take it home and pulled over to have a quick look. Nothing visibly wrong but idling sounds very rough. Only 2nd drive after getting summer tires on but there were no issues on the way back also hitting the freeway.
Here's a video of the idle Streamable Video Update: I understand this is not rough. Idle RPMs are usual and steady too. I haven't listened to it enough with hood up to tell.
Any tips or thoughts?

- Car is in limp mode, meaning it overrides me and limits speed in 3rd; won't shift into 4th or reach above 50 mph
- Check engine light is always on
- No noises, not rough, drives well in 1st/2nd
- I always wait for coolant temp light to go away and then some before doing any rapid acceleration
- Only unusual thing about the drive is I had it in semi-manual and car downshifted from 3rd to 2nd on its own just a touch before I would do it; downshift made perfect sense however (coming to a stop)
- Drove perfectly fine on freeway last time it was out prior to today
