Brought 124 in at 7 years to replace transmission fluid & filter and the dealer says there is no filter... but manual says filter is built into pan.. Forum on this site says in a post 1/2/2025 that there is a filter and lists part 68366123AA and incudes a picture but it is just a pan without filter. QUESTION if filter is not part of pan why replace the pan... AND does 124 have a trans filter.. HELP

It does have a filter(metal mesh) permanently built into that pan in the picture, so it comes with the kit. You should ask your mechanic about replacing the little gaskets around the drain plug and the fill plug, because I don't think those comes with the kit. Those are old, dried out, and might leak if they are reused.
