“the successor to their Japan-only, mid-engined 660cc powered S660 roadster, which went out of production in 2022. Best Car reports that Honda will increase the car’s size to Mazda’s MX-5 Miata dimensions

“the new electric roadster could very well employ a revised version of the Prologue’s powertrain which offers a choice of either a 212-hp single-motor front-wheel-drive setup, or a 288-hp two-motor all-wheel-drive with range of around 300 miles. And given that it will be much lighter than the Prologue, we can expect some serious acceleration, with a 0-60 mph of under 5 seconds from an EV expected to debut in 2026.”

So I had an interesting talk with a guy while filling up.

Not taking sides. I really don’t care whether you are for or against electric cars. Think of me as a Larry David…I don’t give a shit.

So I’m gassing up, and a guy asks me if my car is electric. Nope, I say. 4 cylinder turbo. Good he says, because he hates electric cars. Ok. Again, I should have just turned away. But instead I say, you know, if half of the cars on the highway now were electric, we’d probably be paying half for what we are now.

Well, he says, there isn’t enough chargers for all those cars. Then I says…now I’m playing with this guy, sorry karma, what do you care, you’re driving a gas vehicle. Eff em.

So now, the wheels are really turning. He says, yeah, but soon enough that’s all you’re gonna be able to buy. So I says, newer cars and trucks are built pretty well. Take care of your new truck and it will probably last longer than you will. Heck, just look at Cuba.

So now he’s shaking his head. As he is getting back in his truck, he says, well, if they come to get my truck from me, somebodies going to be hurting. I say…I wouldn’t worry about it.
