I'm back.

Had another look at the car and I'm not aerospace engineer but even I know this don't work for air pressure

Turbo inlet hose

I didn't put ir back since it looked melted, wanted to ask for further advice here.

Should I...
1. Get a new ring?
2. Ignore it and put it back (turbulent air flow?)
3. Cut off the wobbly plastic to just the ring and reinsert it?

Seein' what it's still under warranty, I'd let the dealership know and make sure they restore things to like new with new parts. Good find! s

Ooops, sorry, was mistakenly under the impression it was under warranty. Now, I would just try to obtain new replacement parts as necessary (or try to repair to like new condition if possible). Best, s

I'm happy to report that she purrs like a playful kitten and drives like a stung horse :)

For future searchers, I stripped the torn and melted rubber from the metal ring, cleaned it and reinserted it under the turbo inlet hose clamp where I believe it slipped from.

The aforementioned noise is present to the same degree as before (as usual). Seems loud at times still. Doesn't sound high pitch like an air release, more whiney - just the sound of the automatic and a healthy dose of paranoia I reckon.

I will probably get an aftermarket intake, like the V4, in the future. Especially if this fails again. The hard part was finding it, it's a very simple problem.

I cant express how grateful I am for your time and help, as I wouldn't have a clue where to start or what to look for otherwise :) This community has added an extra dimension to my 124 ownership since I first came here to inquire about buying one.
Sounds Nice to have Technical Help and Support from some if these Guys On Here... I have A Few Guys with Rude and or Smart Replies that don't Help Very Much... Even Worse, not Sure if This Has Happened to Anyone Else... But I Live In So Cal, and Am having Some Trouble With This P02262 And A P0299 Code, I Spoke with A Guy at the 500 Madness shop here in Long Beach and Asked Him If I can Take it Down For them to Have A Look at It... To My Surprise and Was Upset to Hear, He Told Me " Burn the Car and Claim Your Insurance for It....." 😳🤯😡 Then He Said, " Dont Bring it Here, I don't Want Anything to do with That Car"..... That Was Just Wrong, I really Don't Even Know What To say To Something Like That... Wish I could get ahold of the Owner and See if He Would Feel the Same about What His Employees Thought... Or Hopefully, That wasn't the Owner.... Anyway, if Anyone Out there Would Be Willing to Help Me Out... I would Truly and Greatly Appreciated It Very Much... God Bless Everyone and Drive Safe...

Hi El Gallo.
Sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues, considering how much work you've had done so far.

The codes you are quoting suggest turbo air intake issues.

Try carefully checking all hoses are securely fitted. Make sure the main turbo air intake hose is not blocked/restricted.

I'll Do That Again, I've Done, Boost Leak test, Actuator Test, Changed Everything But The Turbo... Going 2 Start Back Tacking, maybe put the OE WGA back On, and Maybe Even The WG Solinoid... Its Just Super Weird, the Car Has Boost and Lots of Power 1st thru 4th, as Soon as i try and Gun it in 5th or 6th it goes into Limp Shrimp Mode( what I've come to Call it) and the Codes Pop Up... After which I stop, turn the car off, clear codes restart, and will run Fine... Then again if Im heavy on 5th or 6th, Limp Shrimp 🦐 then Codes.... Im Not A Fiat Expert or an Expert Mechanic, but I Think It May Be The Freaking Turbo.... What R Your Thoughts...
No Super Mods, Just Turbosmart WGA, EC Intercooler with Pipes, new Boost and Map sensors and New boost Solinoid...

A tricky problem.
I would return absolutely everything to stock.... even if it means you need to purchase OEM components. Undo any add on piggy back/tunes etc. Go back to stock and start from there...... new plugs/oil etc.

Good Luck (y)

Exactly what @Arthur said above, making sure you use the correct PN spark plugs (NGK SIKR9A7's) gapped correctly and engine oil meeting the specs laid out in your owners manual (such as Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w-40 here in North America). s

Just getting home from work and Seeing Your Post, luckily I've kept most of the stock Parts. But i did do A Boost Leak test and With the EC Intercooler kit it actually Holds Better Then Stock, I really Don't Think it will Be That... Im going 2 Put the OE WGA. The Turbosmart WGA i Ordered was A 7psi Actuator, but they Sent Me a 10psi One, ive Already spoke with them and their sending the 7psi spring... I'll try putting back the Old WGS Solinoid and see where it Goes from there... I had A Big Boost Leak from the Stock Intercooler and Piping, and May have Damaged a few fittings while removing the Old Pipes, but Im Sure its Not the EC Intercooler kit as Thats Holding Pressure Very Good... I don't have any Piggy backs or Tunes done to The Vehicle... And I Just Put New Plugs about 5k miles ago, but I'll definitely Put some New Ones, Time For Oil Change Anyway, and See what Happens.... Thanks 4 the Reply and Advice Guys... I'll Give an Update in A Few Day, i Work Alot and Never Home On My Days Off... Just Can't Mash it I Guess When I Drive....
Eff It, I'll Keep Going Till I Blow The Motor, Then Buy A Used 1 Or Do A Swap...
