I am also curious as I commute 70 miles a day in mine. I bought it with 13k a couple months ago and now have 19k on it so not high mileage yet.

 

I drive over 100 Miles round trip Mon-Fri for my first job and 150+ miles sat and sun for my weekend job

 

Bought my Abarth late November '18 as a fun DD. A hair under 58k miles when I did my oil change last Thursday, and not a single mechanical drivetrain issue to report.

I did recently notice, however, that I have the common problem of the top rubbing on the roll bars when it's lowered. Haven't looked up how to adjust that yet, though.

 

I bought mine in nov at 44.5k and i am at roughly 46.8k so good to hear others enjoy them daily! Any convenience mods or what not you'd recommend at 75k?

 

My Car is pretty heavily modified as my car has full intake downpipe custom exhaust, its been lowered Etc;
right as i got to about 50k miles i started to notice the diverter valve plastic cracking and leaking so id recommend getting a upgraded diverter valve so it holds boost better through the gears. and as you can id recommend getting better intercooler piping with the stock spider piping has a lot of connection points and tend to leak a decent amount
it almost seems my car gets a new boost leak every other week. I'm putting a intercooler and new piping soon

 

I am at 54k and I haven't had any issues except with a aftermarket charge pipe that had a hole develop in it. The only issue I have now is a emissions code that comes and goes.

2018 bought new in May of 2019. It's my DD, and I have a 60 mile commute, so I'm pushing 68,000 smiles. I'm running EC p2 (last 20,000miles) and had p1 from about 5000 miles. The only issue I've had is with the blind spot monitoring giving me occasional false indications on the drivers side. Car runs like a champ

She gets regular oil/filter changes every 5000 miles (Amsoil), air filter cleaning every other oil change, plugs every 25,000 miles (NGK) and tires last about 25,000 miles, too. I'm still on my original brake pads and rotors.

Great car, very reliable, super fun to drive!

 

how do you like the EC Phase 2?

 

P2 is great. The car is very responsive to throttle, and a lot of fun in just about every driving condition. It's good in both sport and normal modes, but I actually get slightly better mileage in sport mode (if I'm being "good"). EC deserves kudos for their products and customer service. Everything I've ordered from them has been a) top quality, b) shipped immediately, c)well packaged, and d) immediately supported should you have a question or need assistance. I am happy to do business with them, as well as with GoodWin Racing...another great vendor for our cars.

I guess I have the most mileage so far in the pact. I got a 2017 Fiat spider abarth with 66thousand miles and ongoing. I have approximately 100miles commute monday to friday to work and every other saturday. All stock just got record monza exhaust done last saturday. Had previous post before of cylinder 3 misfire due to burnt exhaust valve(not a mechanic.lol) but that's what the paper said and with help of people here in forum it was fixed with some battle with the corporate to cover it.

Just want to say, that's a lotta miles! I guess you don't need a lot of space in your daily life Hopefully most of that is with the top down...

 

When was the last time you contacted EC? I have been on their site often and it seems everything is out of stock.

 

63k miles here. I was commuting 150 miles round trip a day for just over a year but pandemic aside I got a job closer to home to cut that to about 22 miles round trip. No mechanical issues to report except the AC went weak on my for the second time in the fall but it's cool enough now to not need it. I'll need to get that taken care of pretty soon because here in SoCal it'll be warming up again soon enough. I did replace the brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads at around 45k miles.. 2017 Lusso bought in July 2016 so it's going on 5 years old now and it runs like a champ!

61k on my 2017 Abarth 6spd MT. Bought new and commute 100 miles a day M-F. Love driving it. Have been working from home since Covid, otherwise I’d have another 20k.
It’s completely stock. Still on original battery, brakes and tires. Tires are just now at the treadwear bars. Time to replace- any suggestions?
The only problem I had was a slight oil leak at 40k miles. It was the big banjo bolt at the bottom of the oil filter adapter. Snugged it up and the leak stopped.
Oil changes and tire rotations every 10k miles using Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40 recommended by the Mfr.
Spark plugs every 30k using OEM plugs and all work is done in my garage at home. Nice to see there are others using their Spiders as much as me!! Thanks for the thread!

 

I replaced the original Bridgestone RE050 with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires at 30k miles, and I couldn't be happier.

Let me introduce my 2017 124 Spider. It reached 91,000 miles yesterday. I bought my brand new black Classica, with manual transmission, in January 2017. I have a daily round-trip commute of 120 miles to work. I might have gotten closer to 100,000 but I was home from work due to covid for two months last spring. I drive it everywhere and year round. For me, it works fine as a daily driver; running errands, commuting, and the fun weekend trip. I brought our Christmas tree home from the tree farm by sitting it in the passenger seat with the top down. I even brought home 7 large bags of mulch from the nursery. During the summer, I take back roads (top down) to and from work. During our Michigan winters, I mostly use the freeways.

First thing I bought for the car was a new set of wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak tires, which I swap in every winter. I made a few mods; GoFastBits diverter valve, AlfaRomeo coil packs, EuroCompulsion V1 Air, and a catch can. The car has been mostly reliable. One major problem I had, was that the oil separator failed early on, and was replaced under warranty. Other than that the car has been good to me, and has made the last four years of commuting bearable.

I was right behind you until Covid work from home. Got mine in Feb 2017 and put 22k per year until work from home started.
You definitely have me beat on the mileage, not to mention the 🎄 Christmas tree and mulch!🤪

 

I'm now running Perelli run flats. Handles fine and piece of mind. I did blow out one and was able to make it home.. had to replace of course but it would have had to be replaced no matter what.

I wasn't aware Pirelli run-flats were available in our size.

I bought my car in late 18 with "high" miles at the time. 35k. It has 36k now. You all keep driving, this is going to be a low mileage example here soon.

I bought my car with 6,000 miles in July 2019 and it currently has 15,000 miles as of May 2021. I expected to have broken 20,000 by now, but the plague and an unrelated spousal health crisis intervened to curtail long road trips. I'm looking forward to that changing this coming summer and fall.
